Experience the southern ranges and plains from the back of an elite motor bike of India (Royal Enfiled-350)
Royal Enfield Motor Bike is still considered to be one of the status symbols and gives an extra image to its owner in India.  The Motor Cycle originally manufactured by the English company is now run by the Indian company that still makes the traditional 350 bikes and retains most of its early charm.  It is still believed to be the best on Indian roads.  The Motorbike travel in southern India organized by us will give you the extreme pleasure of biking and sightseeing. 

The following package can be organized for special groups like Motor clubs, Social organizations, Student groups, Adventure Groups, etc. 
Even if you ar an individual traveller, you can also join in any of the fixed departure tours.If you require any special itinerary other than the suggested one, you may contact us for tailor made programms. You can also mail us at if you require to rent a Royal Enfoeld motor Bike for your individual requirement in Inda. The best time to travel by motor bike in India will be Dec to March. We have departures every first Sunday in Dec 2008, Jan 2009, Mar 2009, April 2009, September 2009, October 2009, November 2009, December 2009, January 2010, March 2010 and April 2010.

Day 1
You will be met at the Chennai (Madras) International Airport and transferred to the Beach Resort at Mahabalipuram by our Tour Executive. Rest of the day is free and time for you to recover from the Jet leg.

Day 2
Your Tour Manager will meet you and brief you on the Tour program. The Motor Cycle (Royal Enfield) will be delivered to you. After-noon is free for you activities specially to explore the Mahabalipuram and neighbouring villages and towns on your Motor Cycle. In the evening dinner at a farm house on the Beach.
Overnight stay is at the same Hotel in Mahabalipuram.

Day 3
0830 Hrs we depart to Kanchipuram. It is about 60 Kms away from Mahabalipuram and the ride takes about 2 hours to reach Kanchipuram, one of the holy cities of India and which is better known for its magnificent Temples and the exclusively hand woven Silk sarees. Our convoy stops at two temples and at the Silk weaving Centre.
1300 Hrs we break at a Local Restaurant for Lunch / Snacks
1530 Hrs we arrive at Mahabalipuram and rest of the day is free for your own activities. There are multiple choices of Restaurants available, which specialize in Sea Food. Either you can get a suggestion from our Tour Manager or try the recommendations made by Lonely Planet or just believe in your instincts to try the various restaurants at Mahabalipuram. Whatever may be your choice, you will definitely enjoy the hospitality of the Indian restaurants.
Overnight stay is at the same Hotel in Mahabalipuram

Day 4
0600 Hrs We will depart after an early breakfast today with our entire luggage and proceed to Vedanthangal, a well known bird sanctuary. Vedanthangal is about 60 Kms away and we reach there about 0700 Hrs and take a break to watch the resident and migratory birds and their nests. The season for the birds is October to March. A refreshment snacks with Coffee / Tea will be served in the guest House after the visit in the Sanctuary and we continue riding to our destination Swami Malai.
1700 Hrs we arrive at Swami Malai and check in at our Hotel Rooms. The Heritage Resort is ideally located in the Country side enabling you to explore the heart land of Tamil Nadu. Dinner will be in the Resort.

Day 5
0900 Hrs we depart to explore the Temples of Kumbakonam. We visit Darasuram and Sarangapani temples. Later in the day we visit one of the best Bronze Factory where the traditional bronze icons are still made using the primitive technology of “Lost Wax model”. After-noon you have free time to discover the country side on your own and for leisure activities.
Overnight stay is at the same Heritage Resort.

Day 6
0830 Hrs We will depart to the Rock Fort City “Tiruchirapalli”. On the way, we stop at Tanjore, the former Capital of the great Chola dynasty. Here, we visit the magnificent “Bragadeeswara temple” built by Raja Raja Chola in the 10th Century.
Later in the day we proceed to our destination town “Tiruchirapalli” and visit the Srirangam and Rock fort. We stay at Hotel Sangam for the night.

Day 7
After the past seven days of experiencing the cultural heritage Tamilnadu, we set in for an exciting adventurous and picturesque trip on the mountains of Southern India.
0800 Hrs we will depart to reach our destination town – “ Munnarl”, which is situated about 2000 metres above mean sea level. The route to Munnar, a scintillating hill station of Kerala offers the tourist breath taking views and sights. We reach in the late afternoon and check into the Hotel. Later part of the day is free for your own activities.
Overnight stay is in the 3 star Hotel with barbecue dinner

Day 8
In the morning after a leisure breakfast, we ride to the Tea Plantations and Iruvi Kulam Wildlife Sanctuary which is the best place to spot the Nigiri Thar (Mountain Goat) and many species of birds. Afternoon is free for your own activities in the mountain. Evening dinner will be in the local restaurant.
Overnight stay is in the same Hotel at Munnar

Day 9
0830 Hrs we will depart for Kumarakom, the back water paradise of Kerala. We reach the back water resort and check in. On the way we break at a local restaurant for Lunch / Snacks. Dinner will be in the resort. Late afternoon will be free time for your leisure activities in the resort. Here, you have an opportunity to get the first hand experience of “Traditional Ayurvedic Massage”.
Overnight stay is in the Back water Resort

Day 10
In the morning there is an optional walk through the Bird Sanctuary or you can hire the canoe Boats to row through the tranquil back water canals of Kumarakom.
1500 Hrs we take a boat for the back water cruise in the canals to explore the life along the canals of Kumarakom. The regained lands with rice paddy cultivation offer an excellent sightseeing and photo options.
Overnight stay is in the same Back water Resort.

Day 11
0830 Hrs we will depart to Cochin to visit the Jew Town and Chinese fishing nets.
Afternoon will be your free time at Jew Town for your own activities. Dinner will be organized in the best local restaurant with Sea food speciality.
Evening we also visit the Martial Arts Theatre, for a demonstration show on the traditional martial Art of Kerala – Kalaripayttu.
Overnight stay is at Hotel in Cochin / Ernakulam.

Day 12
0800 Hrs we will depart to our next destination Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. We ride through the mountain ranges of the southern India called as “Western Ghats”. The journey goes through the Athirampalli Waterfalls, Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary and the Tea Estates of valparai. We reach the town Coimbatore late in the evening for our night stay. Dinner will be in the Hotel.

Day 13
0900 Hrs the caravan continues to ride on the southern range of mountains to reach the “Queen of Hill Stations” – Ootacamund (Udhagamandalam). The mountain is also called as Blue Mountains (Nilagiri) due to the influence of the blue colour reflection on the mountain slopes. The winding road to the peak (2600 Metres) gives the riders a thrilling and adventurous ride. After a brief stay at the top for Lunch / snack we proceed to Mudumalai Wild Life Sanctuary.
We stay in the Forest Guest House for the night.

Day 14
You have a break day here in the Forest for your various optional activities like hiking, bird watching, safari ride in Jeeps or discover the neighbouring villages. You can also spend your time in the Best Elephant Camp in India, situated at Theppakkadu to watch elephants and their habits.
Dinner will be served in the Guest House.

Day 15
0900 Hrs we will leave for Mysore and we reach there by noon. We visit the Maharaja Palace, Chamundi Hills and Devaraj urs Market. Evening free for you own activities. Dinner will be served in the restaurant at the Hotel.
Overnight we stay in a 3 star Hotel.

Day 16
0900 Hrs we leave for the High Tech city – Bangalore. Afternoon ride through the important land mark places and the fare well dinner will be organized in one of the customised restaurants. Wash and change rooms will be provided enabling you to prepare yourselves for your Flight back Home. You will be transferred in Motor Coach to Airport for your International connection.

The Package Includes the Following:

* Our services begin at the Chennai International airport and end at the Bangalore International Airport. International tickets can be issued on information at an extra cost.
* Twin sharing accommodation as per itinerary in Standard or 3 star Hotels / Guest Houses.
* Breakfast and dinner as mentioned in the Itinerary starting from the Dinner on the first day and ending with the dinner on the last day. Breakfast will be served in the same hotels where we stay for the night.
* Services of a experienced English speaking tour Manager (Indian)
* The Itinerary will be covered in Motor cycles (Royal Enfield). We will provide you the motor cycle for the entire trip on the basis of your necessity.
* A technical back up team will be there for the entire trip to assist you in case of minor repairs.
* Your baggage will be carried in the Mobile back up team’s Vehicle.
* The Motor Cycle will have a small trunk in which you can carry only your personal belongings like Mobile phone, camera and wallets.
* Entrance fees to all the monuments
* Third party insurance for the motor cycle
* The motor Cycle will be delivered at the Hotel on the first day and returned on the last day before dinner.

The Package does not include the following:

* Visa charges
* International Airfare
* Overseas insurances
* Fuel charges for the Motor Cycle. The Motor Cycle will give an average mileage of 35 Kms. / per litre. Per litre fuel in India Costs approximately 1 Euro / per litre. We cover approximately 2000 Kms in which about 700 Kms will be mountainous route.
* No other meal other than Breakfast and Dinner will be provided.
* No Tips of any nature
* No Helmets and other costumes will be provided.
* International driving licence is mandatory.
* Personal insurance is of your responsibility
* Damages caused by negligent driving and accidents should be paid by the person who takes it on hire for riding for the trip.
