India Beckons was founded by Sudhakar S Selwyn & family in 2007. Sudhakar has travelled to more than 65 countries actively leading groups to special local experiences as a trip leader.
We specialize in leading American travellers who are willing to explore and experience the reality of an exclusive world called India. Many European travellers are also their frequent travellers. They offer special trips every year led by Sudhakar, the founder.
Sudhakar has worked as a trip leader and Guide for several leading tour operators around the world like Overseas Adventure Travel, A&K, Studiosus, Ikarus, Cox and Kings and for many similar operators from Europe, USA, Canada and India.
With over 25 years in the travel business and extensive first-hand knowledge of all destinations in India, he has been able to provide clients with unparalleled individual attention right from the time one books the tour till one returns home as a happy and enriched traveller.
Traveling in groups not exceeding 16 participants allows one to stay in exclusive places and dine in distinctive local restaurants that do not cater to tour groups.
